Ethiopian Art: The Walters Art Museum

The volume contains fine reproductions from the largest collection of Ethiopian art outside that country, held by the Walters Art Gallery in Baltimore. According to the private weekly Tobia (February 11), Bitweded Zewde G. Hiwot, chairman of the executive committee of the "Haile Selassie I Memorial Foundation", told reporters on February 8, that his group had reached a tentative agreement with the government for the remains of the late sovereign to be moved from Bahta Mariam church to its final resting place at a special grave in St. Trinity Cathedral. He said foreign dignitaries and prominent Ethiopians would attend the ceremony.
