There is no book or single source of information on the Crown Prince Asfa-Wossen. You may read about him in "Ethiopia Reaches Her Hands Unto God" by Gregory Copley, but the academic assesment of Asfa-Wossen's participation in Ethiopian history isn't done yet.

There are many reasons for it. First, his relations with his father, Emperor Haile Sellassie. You can read about the 1960 coup in the chapter of the hyper-biography HIM.

Your highness thank you once again for your help in sending me information on Ethiopia. I hope your family can return to Ethiopia and restore the monarchy. Because the monarchy has allways represented unity for all black people of african decedant. That is why your family must return and restore the monarchy even if the monarchy can only exisit as a consitutional one so shall it be done. I know I'm not Ethiopian of birth but I'm Ethiopian at heart. If your family ever restore the monarchy I would be the first to go to help Ethiopia excel in the next century.
