I am doing the final work on AddisPro and would like to
test the document it produces on different systems.
In order to be able to do that, I have attached sample
fonts that would work with the software - AddisPro.
If you want to receive e-mail written in Amharic, then
please install the two fonts on your WIndows95/98/NT
system.
Here is the procedure to install:
1. Click on Start and then Setting
2. Click on Control Panel
3) Then Click on Fonts
4) You will see all fonts installed on your system
5) Go to File (in the Menu) and click on Install New Font
6) A dialog box will be open showing the directory structure and fonts
7) Go to the directory where the attached fonts are saved
8) When you are in the directory (7), you will see AddisPro1 and AddisPro2 in the fonts section of the dialog box.
Click on Select All and then click on the OK button. Tha's it.
This process will help you install the required fonts. Once the fonts are installed, you will be able
to READ e-mail written in Amharic. Some systems may not allow that but we will find out.
After installing the fonts and if you are not able to read my subsequent e-mails under
the subject "AddisPro Test" please let me know. I will need to know what OS your
computer is running (WIndows95/98/Nt) and what e-mail program you are using (Eudora, AOl, Hotmail..etc)

In order to be able to exchange e-mail composed in Amharic,
we have written a tool that would install the necessary
components on your Windows system. If you are interested,
you can get the executable files from the following location:
http://www.ethiolist.com/Apromini.exe
Save the above file in any directory. When you run this program
it will unbundle/unzip the setup files. Once the files have been
unzipped, then run the setup.exe file in the same directory.
That is all. Then, I will send e-mail in Amharic in few days
to see if you were able to read the Amharic part. This effort
is make use AddisPro in a larger scale. If you ran this program
and completed the setup, please let me know off-line - txt4@concentric.net
